Size guide
Measure once, in the morning, over nothing thicker than a vest
These are BODY measurements, not garment measurements. Find the row your body falls in and order that size.
Body measurements
How to measure
Three measurements, a soft tape, and someone to help if you have one
Bust
Around the fullest part, tape level all the way round and flat against your back. Breathe out; do not pull it tight.
Waist
The narrowest part of your torso, usually just above the navel. Bend sideways — the crease is your natural waist.
Hip
Around the fullest part of the hips and seat, roughly eight inches below the waist, with your feet together.
Between two sizes? Take the larger one. These are relaxed cuts and they are meant to be worn with air in them; a piece that skims is a piece you stop reaching for.
On hand-printed cloth. Natural fabric printed and finished by hand will vary by up to half an inch between pieces of the same size. That is the process, not a fault — and it settles further after the first wash.
